I'm not sure that I've ever been to what most people would call a 'gig'. OK, I've seen loads of pub bands 'gigging' but I suspect you'll say that doesn't count. I've also been to plenty of 'concerts' (from the Vienna Boys Choir to the Spinners and Ralph McTell) as well as 'events' (such as local 'world music' days in public parks) but, again, you'll probably say...
Took my daughter to see Simple Plan's final gig of their European tour on 1st June in Vilnius, Lithuania - a 3000 mile road trip and a real adventure. Met the guys before the gig and joined them afterwards for pizza, drinks and selfies.
They were supported by a brilliant Finnish band called Blind Channel, and for just a second or so we're on the video for their recently released single Deja FU.
Zacs - I saw the Quo at Glastonbury a few years ago and they were absofekkinlutely brilliant, then again they are past masters. I liked the new bass player (Rhino?)
LOL just had a flashback to Quo at Glast, I took a sneaky vid on my phone of an elderly lady bopping away like crazy. I also remember Francis changing one of the lyrics to 'Softer Ride' which made me laff.
