A bird, probably a rook, has fallen down a chimney. I am reluctant to find it as I don't e.really want a soot covered bird flying around indoors. It's not in the fireplace but somewhere in the flue of the wood burner.
Suggestions please.
I'm contemplating hoovering up the latest layer of cat hair. The kitchen needs a tidy up...well, most everything does.
I've just gone round and watered some needy houseplants...checking on them is a daily task that I enjoy.
My sister had the very same thing. It died, rotted, and big flies were everywhere in her lounge. She got a chimney sweep in. Two black bags of twigs and one dead rook later, he left, taking £65 with him.
So annoyed. Waiting in all day for a parcel I booked to be collected then suddenly I get an email saying, "We regret to inform you your collection was unsuccessful", and I need to rebook it.
Why was it unsuccessful? I've been here waiting all day. My buzzer is so loud I couldn't possibly have missed it.
***.
I've got loads of housework too thats building up. Too tired to do as I finished work around 5pm and I'm now lying in bed thinking about whether to have a nap or not.
The air ambulance flew low over here yesterday. Apparently, two elderly ladies were taking their dogs for a walk and a motorist ploughed into them. They are both in hospital with life changing /threatening injuries. That's an awful day.
Well, the cat hair is gone...for now.
The kitchen got tidied and floor washed...but as I trashed it a bit cooking I'd better get on with tidy number 2.
Tomorrow morning I will do the plants not done today.
I hope I can go out without getting wet tomorrow.
237sj...did they get the motorist? That's horrific.
