1. The Big Twix Mix - East 17, Backstreet Boys (before anyone had heard of them), Michelle Gaye, Ultimate Kaos
2. James Dean Bradfield at the Zodiac in Oxford last year
3. It should be Live 8 but I was too exhausted to enjoy it that much & I couldn't get to the toilet and back to my place in the crowd. Snoop Dogg was amazing though and I normally hate that type of music
so instead it would be the James Dean Bradfield gig again as I was at the front and the room was not much bigger than my living room

1. Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert @ Wembley Stadium - fantastic for a first gig, aged 14 - Metallica, Guns n' Roses, Spinal Tap (!), Robert Plant - BRILLIANT!!
2. Seu Jorge @ Gateshead Sage - Brazilian artist, also known for his acting in City Of God and The Life Aquatic - great Portuguese covers of Bowie classics too!
3. Tough one really, take your pick from Oasis @ Maine Road in 1996 at the height of Morning Glory hysteria, Editors @ Northumbria Uni (small stage), Doves in Melbourne, Maximo Park @ Northumbria Uni (small stage), Chili Peppers @ Hyde Park, Coldplay @ Bellahouston Park, Glasgow - like I say, hard to choose....and there's loads more - I seem to say 'That was the best gig I've ever been to..' every time I walk out of a gig!
