marvel, it one of the few pieces of classical music i don't like. I think it's because it was played to death on the radio, and when it's on, i have to turn it off.

When I was a kid we inherited an old wind up record player and half a dozen old 78's one of which was this I don't know who it was by obviously not Angelina but mum played it all the time alternating with Mario Lanza and a selection from the Student Prince.

JTH got in there with the Rach 2 - have you heard Helene Grimaud play this - remarkable for a woman to play this at this standard, given some of the hand spreads involved in one of the hardest piano pieces......

I have included here a little Mozart from her.....she is truly gifted. One of my favourite musicians after our Alison Balsom...
