60's group

If someone knows this I will be very surprised as I have so little to go on.
There was a group in the 60's who I used to really like especially one record in particular but I can't remember either the group or the song.
I don't know why but Hedgehogs comes to mind but I've Googled that and looked on YouTube. I found a group called the Hedgehogs but it wasn't them.
The group I am thinking of were probably around the same time as The Fortunes. Any ideas?

Should this situation arise again, try everyhit.com to search. I vaguely remembered it and but for the answer being given anyway, I'd have used this site to confirm.
