I managed to sell mine by putting it on sites such as soundclick then promoting it to bits, join music forums and promote (but not spam) yourself.
You could try joining sites such as broadjam and taxi. They charge for submissions to publishers which stops every amateur joining and ensures your music gets heard.
You make electronic music? Drop a cd of your "choonz" at your local nightclubs/bars. I found by adding the name of the pub or the DJ in the track encourages them to play it. People will come up to them to ask who it is by (assuming it is any good of course)
Keep trying. It's a long and time consuming process but it will eventaully pay off. Check out who performs tracks 11 and 17 here to show that it can be done:
