Chi, you are right, I am her mum I only see her in the evenings when she comes down to raid the fridge or watch some tv programme that we both like.
Not sure what she was laughing at me for - yes I do, last time we went I was bored with all the hanging around and wished I'd taken my kindle, I remembered it today but when I got there it was needing charged! Thankfully she had her i-pod which has books on it so I was allowed to read something on that - got through 3 chapters of Jane Austen's Persuasion (I read quickly) I will be better prepared for the next appointment. Mind you the best bit of the afternoon was when she tried (at my urging) to move our car forward into a proper parking space when her dad nipped out on an errand. I think he's been buying "bouncy" petrol we didn't exactly drive/ease forward the few feet as bounce into it!
