What old bands or groups would you like to see reform?

As most of you know, my musical taste is pretty shocking, so it will come as no surprise that I am absolutely THRILLED by the recent ITV 'The Big Reunion' get together.

Got me thinking though, who would you like to go and see, just one last time? Maybe a band you've seen before, or someone you never got the chance to.

I would love Wham! to get back together for a one-off gig! :-)

No need to show off... :))

Assuming I could see them at their height, not as they would be now -

The Beatles
Free
T. Rex.
ELP - again
Floyd - again
Cockney Rebel (original line-up)
Slade - again
Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers - again
Fleetwood Mac - again

the list just goes on and on ...

top of the list would be Pink Floyd.
Thanks for the Moody Blues link, madmen.

Andy-hughes, the 'Mr cool' of AB (second to Mr Talbot, of course) :)

Yes, what was I thinking. Of course Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers would be top of the list!

Just made me think of another... actually, probably top of my list, The Traveling Wilburys.

No probs Tilly :))
What no Sheila Ferguson, Tilly? ;0p
The Smiths.

Even though they're all still alive, it'd be easier to re-unite The Beatles.
If I could see someone who is no longer alive, then it would definitely be Bob Marley and the Wailers.

"booooooooo" to The Beatles!

Sorry, cannot stand any of them.

Question Author
The Smiths would be cool though :)

(Sorry, got carried away with The Beatles then) x
Question Author
Not a massive fan of Bob Marley, but I can appreciate his music.

:-))

What's your fave Bob Marley song?
You don't like the Beatles??????????????????????
Question Author
Eekkk... sorry, no.

I just have this 'thing' about them. I honestly cannot stand any of their songs.

I just don't see the big deal...
You had to be there, Madmen.
Question Author
I reckon that's probably what it is, Tilly.

Beatle mania, and all that! :-)
Fave Bob Marley song would be Get Up Stand Up or one of the other more "gritty" songs. I wasn`t so mad on his more commercial stuff that he did later. Quite a lot of old bands reform and do the odd tour. We had 10cc play at (of all places) our local outdoor swimming pool a couple of years ago. A lot of them do smaller festivals around here too. Level 42 were playing down the road last year and I really wanted to go but was blOOdy working.
I miss John Denver - went to everyone of his concerts when he came over. Went to see the Backstreet Boys - love them - got all their CDs.

237sj, we had 10cc play here at a rugby club a few years ago, but I missed them.

Does anyone remember Racey? They often play in my town.... lol
