There is a line in the lyrics that go's something like - "Till i'm wheezing like a bust stop".

It's been bugging me for years, why would a bus stop wheeze ?

I suggest it should be: till I'm wheezing at the bus stop.

I thought you were joking at first but yes it's wheezing like a bus stop. All I can think of is that noise buses make when they use their air brakes?

That is weird I must have heard that song hundreds of times and never picked up on that. Very odd. No idea what it is all about though.

Thanks Winner, that makes more sense. I guess the guy had been running for the bus on that hot summer day and was wheezing after inhaling the traffic fumes
