No, not I'm aware of anyway.  As i'm a big fan of Simply Red and have followed his music and every snippet of news about him, there has never been any gossip of children, its usually about the women he's had or to have pop at his weight.  He is still single, he was brought up by his father and aunt, his mother left when was still a child, and has nothing to do with her as she has contacted him.  It has scared his life where women are concerned, he doesn't fully trust them to get involved thats why at 45 he's still a batchelor.  :-)

P.S. I will be going to see him "AGAIN " in November in Birmingham. I cant wait! you have started something now I could waffle on & on about him.  There is people who dont like him, but he has a massive following of fans, and he gives an excellent value for money concert.  :-)
