Bring back Sam Fox and Mick Fleetwood
I'm in the minority i think but I like Bastille, Lorde, Rudimental, Ellie Goulding, John Newman etc. I'm looking forward to Pharell Williams singing. I was disappointed in the song choices though for Bruno Mars and Arctic Monkeys (who have gone downhill IMO)
I agree about James Corden- the jokes just seem to fall flat, but they keep asking him back every year
If Bowie is the best male then RIP British Music
Hoppy...that particular debacle is only now fading !
Its James Corden last time presenting this crap thank god, and why did he keep on about harry stiles about going for a pee, just not funny, and what was that all about at the start when his coat sleeve was on fire?

Jimmy Carr went down like a damp squid as well as the rest!
Bowie got Best British Male ahead of Jake Bugg and Ed Sheeran?

What's that noise?

It's the sound of the barrel being scraped.........
That Tom Odell has potential. I do like Jon Newman though. Bowie has been great over the years but hasn't been a force in music for maybe 20 years
Bowie won for best male artist, unless my hearing is going..
that should be British male artist i think.

not fashionable enough i expect.
Think im with the minority on 'ere.

The bit I watched before going to bed was really good, and I liked (and knew!) most of the artists and songs I heard.

fender62.......'black sabbath are a brit band who brought out an album last year, why no mention on the brit awards'

An excellent album but unfortunately the brit awards don't do proper rock - just trendy poncy rock like the Arctic Monkeys
^ ...and like David Bowie, joeluke?

Exactly FF

Bowies new output was dirge but because he's an ancient icon people jump on the bandwagon and don't want to be seen as un-hip by saying what they really think of it and so it snowballed into the situation where the music biz loved his new stuff

He's like that other old 'icon' Paul McCartney, both should have retired gracefully years ago

It's a bit like a top footballer who carries on too long and ends up embarrassing himself and his fans when he's not up to the job anymore

I really enjoyed the Brit awards. Bowie deserved his award, he's a very talented man!
