Yes- Metal Guru was the perfect pop song for me in or around 1972 and I love them in the early 70s. I lost interest after Marc Bolan's death - but did buy a greatest hits CD -although I was disappointed Jeepster was omitted from it. I also had a fantastic double album of early T Rex stuff I won from Record Mirror or Sounds in the mid-late 70s
I couldn't believe it at the time when I leaned that Marc Bolan and Gloria Jones were an item.

I once exchanged a few words with Marc Bolan at the Playhouse Theatre in Regent Street at a recording when I worked for the BBC.
