I'm sitting outside Tesco Superstore, waiting to unload, and "Home Thoughts From Abroad" by Cliffird T Ward is playing on the radio. What a beautiful song, by a wonderful singer/songwriter. Not a question, just an observation.

I agree. I always liked his songs and so many of them were recorded by Jack Jones (the singer that is, not the one with the flat cap!)

Apparently, CTW wasn't nearly as successful as he could have been because he disliked doing all the "stuff" necessary for self-promotion...interviews, TV appearances etc. He just liked the writing and singing...and could the songs be any more English?
