I am chilled, I just don't think he's taking any notice of what we're telling him and certainly he's not reading his Links before submitting them. That said, I'm outta here!

Hi Jordy, try this ... two Windows open youtube & here. Choose your song & start it off playing, press on the bar with the song you have chosen/in it till it changes colour, now press the 'control key' on your keyboard then the letter c. Now click on the Answerbank window, click on video here bar, now press the control key again then the letter v. See if that works x
I'm on my Kindle fire, it's a different method on a Kindle.
Sorry Jordy ... should read .. 'click on YouTube bar with song description in ... then follow rest.
Ooh!! Important last bit!! Put something in this box here .. anything, a full stop or whatever. Don't know why but it's essential.

Well done. It seems you were leaving out the .com
Yes, i have copied the main body of the link to notepad on my ipad and then after the = I insert the videos youtube code. A bit long winded but the only way i can get it to work on ipad.
Just testing a cut'n'paste of a link from one of jordy's earlier posts

https://i.ytimg.com/vi_webp/Wbs8EfgE4EI/mqdefault.webp

Well, whatever that link points to, Safari (browser) complained that it couldn't dowload it.

1. Googled the "random characters" part
2. Top search result = Connie Francis video
3. In Safari, press and hold the blue result header
4. Select 'copy' (the url)
5. I'm using a mobile so this link might not suit

In the YouTube app, press the symbol with three blobs joined by lines. A popup menu gives you the url copy function. Paste into AB
Weird. Neither of the two links I pasted appeared, so I don't know which one worked okay.

Nor did the part I typed about editing "m.youtube" to just "youtube" after the double slash

All operations done from Safari, not the YouTube app.

From the blue question mark, next to the link insert box

"How can I display a YouTube Video on AB?
To display a YouTube video on the AnswerBank, all you have to do is provide us with a description of the clip (i.e. the title), and the applicable URL. Copy and paste these details into the boxes provided, to ensure the video link is correct click validate button, then submit your question/answer – your clip will appear on the site with your question/answer."

I'm wondering if it is failing because you are leaving the title and description parts blank?

I should try it for myself before dishing out advice but it's just a suggestion.

Pasting a link found on Google, from jordy's post

I don't see prompts for title or description. Maybe that is only when you start a new AB thread?
