First act not so promising........but reviews from USA indicate spectacular acts 3 and 4.

Thanks MM....its always nice to hear from a fellow enthusiast !

I was listening earlier, to some wonderful operas for that its season in 1961, of "Turandot" with Birgit Nilsson in the title role, and Franco Corelli as Calàf.

What an evening that would have been ! Nilsson is my favourite singer of that period, by far !
