Searching For Song
26 Answers
This is a long shot but...I was in a shop yesterday and heard a familiar song. My phone had died so I couldn't shazam it. I thought it was Sinead O'Connor but I don't think it is. It's a female singer from 80's or 90's and she was singing something like "varshardian" or "sharshardian" and the song was quite slow and gentle. Any ideas please?

Having thought about it, Jack Wills do play a lot of indie type stuff from 80s and 90s (Smiths, Charlatans) and I even remember hearing Jimmy Hendrix Little Wing. I am not sure they would play Sinead O Connor (maybe Hazel O Connor) but Cranberries/Sundays are a possibility if the vocals were definitely Irish

Hi Kitty. I know you were looking in this weekend so i wondered if you had got your answer now. I'm pretty sure it's KD Lang's Miss Chaterlain (but then I was pretty sure it was Kajagoogoo, the Sinead O'Connor one, Blossoms and the The Cranberries) but it was the KD Lang one that was in my mind all along- I kept humming "shadderling" but it took a while to remember who and what it was.
