Ive just bought a Cd from America by a country artist who i love, gretchen wilson and in one of her songs she refers to a skoal ring.....now im wondering what this actually is since im not "down with the american cowboy lingo"...i wondered if anyone could help me??? x x x

The 'Redneck Woman herself eh!. Good stuff. Skoal ring is a reference to the shape a can makes in the back pocket of a pair of jeans.

Thankyou very much for enlightening me! I love her music but its rather enfuriating when im in my car driving and singing along without knowing what im singing about.....thankfully i now have a source of knowledge for american terminolgy! x x x
