bhg//danny - Jack Jackson had a clever radio show (Saturday?)//
I remember it well and his cat Tiddles.
Yes. I bought 3 easy listening type LPs from my mother's catalogue. None likely to be considered cool and bump up the kudos, but I liked them.

Never bought singles, with the exception of gifts to others. Too much hassle having to change the record after every track.
Roopower , going to see that film and so wanting to get a old double decker and drive through Greece haha
I bought LPs too O_G but didn't like all the tracks, my first was A hard Days Night

Think it might have been this. The great Del Shannon. Hats of to Larry.

It was this album!

I'm going to listen to it again now you've reminded me.
A bit after I got Dak Side of The Moon.
As for singles, I can't name one- I went out and bought a batch of singles in 1974 with my paper round savings. One was Everything I Own by Ken Boothe
1970 Elvis Presley.... You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me

All worthy of BA. I love the oldies.

You Send Me by Sam Cooke.
About 60 years ago I bought a load of records from a school friend who had got fed up of them. One of them was Otillie Patterson with Blueberry Hill; unfortunately it sounds like he emery-papered it each time he played it but I just love it. I've tried for years to get a reasonable copy but there seems to be no trace of it, not even on YouTube or albums.
Mine was:
Silhouette by Herman's Hermits

nope, but i remember the one that i played over and over again, till the family must have been sick of it. Eddie Holman, Hey There Lonely girl.
Arh Sharon , I loved Emile Ford
danny - I've got that and several other versions too but the Otillie Patterson version is my favourite, despite the crackles.
