Some obvious choices, but they're all goodies. Blame Disney for this first one...

I'm not sure if this even counts as classical music, but it's one of my all time favourite pieces. It just conjures visions of New York City.

One of my favourites too, Mozz. (Rhapsody in Blue) This was the one that sprang to mind at the start, but like you, wasn't sure it fell into the classical slot.. :-)

I think so, bobbi, I was right in the middle at Maastricht when they played that. I'll never forget it. Thanks for putting it on, I've no idea how to do it!
I'm glad to see such fine taste from my fellow ABers! To be honest Patsy, I was almost tempted to add some John Williams, as I firmly believe the great film composers of the last sixtie years (Williams, Morricone, Steiner, Zimmer etc) will be the classical music of the 22nd century.

When you get what you want on YT keep your finger down on the space bar till you get copy , the space bar will change colour and go darker, touch copy, come back here and touch your blank space where paste will come up, touch paste x
