1994 Banned. Mind ya gob son.

Walk on the Wild Side never got banned by the BBC, I can only imagine that they didn't know what "giving head" meant in 1971!
True, but I thought in those days, the BBC claimed to be unbiased.

The 1990 one I was watching had 2 songs I recognised nkotb tonight and mc hammer u can't touch this. Didntveven recognise the number 1 - turtle power. I agree some mid to late 90s indie stuff was great
They've only just started censoring Oliver's Army.
never heard lou reed on the radio except perfect day, shame really
great artist,, made great strides in breaking down erm norms..
is that not rock n roll though..i say yes.
The irony of using Whole Lotta Love in the opening titles ;o)
Togo, the video was banned, not the song. The song got plenty of airplay "son".
Talking live bands ... I have seen more than a few. The most electrifying performance was The Stone Roses, Heaton Park. Also saw them at The Etihad, but Heaton Park was unforgettable.
Fender, I guess they never knew what Perfect Day was really about either then!
The Trainspotting soundtrack was great.
This was banned in 1992 as well.

Peace offering Togo

There was a non-sweary version of Creep.
Mozz71, no i was born yesterday..and how old are you..
That's a great one, Togo.
Creep was only banned because of the f-bomb wasn't it? The radio edit got loads of play, especially on the evening shows.
Creep- was it the so 'effin' special lyric
I'm the same age as Transformer, Fender.
