I'm not a fan of all his output, but his genius is beyond question.

Andy, did you see the documentary the other night?

Frank Zappa was so talented,i loved his music had most of his stuff from Freak Out ,200 Motels,Ship arriving too late to,Broadway The Hard Way,he was so creative and yet not accepted by a lot people,I even grew an imperial i loved him that much,even his speaking voice is brilliant,luckily for me one of my mates at the time was also into Zappa(late 70's to early 80's) so we had many a happy hour over a pint or two appreciating his genius.

If you watch his interviews and documentaries, you might agree that he was a gentleman. He wasn't a diva or a braggart. And he played guitar like a musician, not a flailer.

Just goes to show you can be a perfectionist professionally,but still be a good guy away from your work.
