Jingle Bells

I think that this question (in a quiz I am tackling) is based on a misconception, but in case anyone knows better - what is the name of the horse that pulls the sleigh in "Jingle Bells"? I don't think that the horse is named (in the lyrics of the song at least) but suspect that the question anticipates the answer "Bobtail" based on a misinterpretation of the line "Bells on bobtail ring". But if anyone knows better...........

In verse 4 its a 'bob tailed bay', so perhaps bay (as the type of horse) is the answer.

Thanks for that - fair point - I was assuming that it meant name as in "Dobbin" etc rather than type of horse, but your interpretation could be the answer.
