I actually can’t beat Come On Eileen by Dexy’s.

It just reminds me of a ‘floor-filler’ at the end of the night on a crap wedding that everyone knows won’t last 18 months.
*bear not beat!
Just noticed on the Trekkin' that at one point, Uhura is singing but it shows the McCoy figure instead.

I read on Wikipedia, there was a rush to get a video produced in time and they made it with only hours to spare so that would explain the error.
Jennifer Rush, The Power Of Love
/// But ask yourselves why when most of these songs are played do we all still sing along with them? ///

Good point Lankeela, but I think perhaps that actually contributes to why we don't like them, LOL.
Mull of Kintyre!
Hate it
Bing Crosby's "White Christmas"!!!
Anything by screeching female singers and anything by Cliff Richard.
Lady in red - Chris de Beugh!
I'm with you on My Ding a Ling, Bobbi. I'm fine with most of the other songs people have mentioned, Mull of Kintyre and all, but this one has always really grated on me.
Father Abraham Smurf Song.
This atrocity...

And just for Mr O'Neill, if you do leave the union, take this tripe with you.

Mack the knife by Boby Darin, scared the hell out of me, when I was a kid. way back in the 50s

We all like vindaloo.

This song was tad cheesy
How about John Kettley is a weatherman by the tribe of toffs. Now that was quite bad.
Crazy Horses, Osmonds.

Paul and Paula, Hey Paula, now that was cheese !
Yes “My Ding a Ling” certainly wasn’t banned. I remember it on Top of the Pops every week. Suggestive humout was fine as evidenced by the sitcoms that were on.
“Worst” is pointless. But “one I hated most”: “One Day at a Time (sweet Jesus, not again!)” by Lena Martell closely followed by “Mother of Mine” by Neil somebody
