What is the song 'Games without frontiers' by Peter Gabriel all about, its surely not about the T.V. programme 'Its a Knockout' ?

It's more to do with the human obsession with all types of conflict, from 'silly games' to full blown wars. And look how keep our leaders are to take us into another one...
Well that spoilt the flow! It should, of course, have been 'keen'. Shame you can't edit these answers.
"Jeux san frontiers", which is the refrain throughout the song, is the name of the French version of 'It's a knockout' (as well as the original TV version of the show). PG was concerned at the level of jingoism that seemed to occur on the international It's a Knockout, and wrote the song, extending the metaphor to show how it was no different from the sort of propogandist rubbish that comes out when countries go to war.

Incidentally, PG's new one, UP is one of the albums of the year.
