Dolly's version is the difinitive version.

Her version of her own I Will Alwys Love You is only slightly eclipsed by Linda Ronstadt's version ( each wqas going through a personal / professional break-up at the time of recording) and we'll draw a veil over Witless Useless, who has contrived to foghorn her way through a travesty that appears to be a tag-line for an Internet search engine advert - work it out!

My daughter has recently unearthed a cover version of Witless' cover version (how bizarre is that?) by the fat guy from the reality pop show who got the symnpathy vote and promptly disappeared. I'm not surprised, his version of this classic song is simply beyond repeated hearings.
