Just listened to a CD of The Cure's Peel sessions , some tracks are better than the versions that appear on Albums.


Do any AB ers know of other groups whose Peel sessions are better than Album tracks ?

Try The Smiths Hatfull Of Hollow album. Im sure there was some Peel stuff on there.

The Joy Division ones are legend. I have the Cure ones, and you're right. i think those songs work really well stripped back to the bare bones, letting the raw talent shine through

There are some excellent Half Man Half Biscuit session tracks available at www.hmhb.co.uk - different versions, unreleased tracks, that kind of thing.
