Argggggggggg i`m sure this tune i`ve got in my head was done by them, I know its hard to discribe how a tune goes but its sort of -der der-da der, der der da der and the lyrics arn`t really sung but there spoken(in a gruff voice LOL)

k, so looking at your replies i`m wonder if dave ghrol (sorry for the spelling) has been a drummer for another band except stp and nirvana, because he was defo the drumer in the tune i`m after

This may be way off the mark....but how you describe the tune and the spoken in gruff voice lyrics....it sounds a lot to me like "RV" a song by Faith No More from the AngelDust album.
May be a long shot,but could it be this??
