Anyone else think all the awards were wrong.
I personally think Muse should have won every category the were nominated for and they should have been in the best single category too, with SuperMassive Blackhole, Not my fave track of theirs but definitely the most unique song to come out of the charts in the last few years.
I think Wolfmother or Ray Lamontagne should have got best international break through,
It really was a big pile of cack. The Fratellis deservedly got their award though.

I work in music and maybe I am biased but every award I guessed right - why put bands like Flaming lips and artists like Dylan in catagories like those when the kids that vote for the awards are NEVER going to choose them?
Its a bit like the charts these days - supplier funded and a big con - Oh my bitterness is showing again lol - I just think its a shame really.

The Killers deseved everything, I love them (still loving Starsailor too I might add Goodsoulette!). ~Amy winehouse was amazing.
Take That were pap.
Remember, though , how the Brits began. They were really, really so much more 'teeny-bopper-based', and 'Smash Hits-y', from what I can remember.
I know they are still looking at popularity, after all, it's not awarding the smaller bands, but the whole thing is SO much better than in the Sam Fox era.

You're obsessed with Muse! I think they would have been happy with what they got. As for the rest I reckon The Fratellis were lucky (can't remember who else was nominated but there was stiff competition ie Gnarls and somebody else) and I'd have given Lilly Allen the best female as she's refreshingly credible even though her old man's Keith Allen.
