I was reading the obituary of Wally Ridley yesterday and it mentioned that he wrote the lyrics for"Why did she fall for the leader of the band" a hit for Jack Hylton & his Orchestra way back when.

My late father was a huge big band fan and I remember this song from my childhood. I would love to be reminded of the lyrics for the song - I can only remember the title line.
