"Travelled the world and the seven seas" SHOULD be Eurythmics - have you tried both "Eurythmics" and "The Eurythmics"? Also try "Annie Lennox" (which is technically correct, I suppose, considering the question is who SANG it and she was the singer). Oh, and while I'm here 4 is Chris Rea - the song is "Auberge". 14 is the song "Cats In The Cradle" which was by Harry Chapin or Ugly Kid Joe.

marc cohn is "mark cohen" (the creator can't spell) also sultans of ping is correct - check you've spelled it correctly.
to find ALL the answers do a "save as" and save the SQL as a text file - the answers will show up in the newly created text file

Oh, apparently Cat Stevens covered Cats In The Cradle. Not either the first or second person I would have thought of in relation to the song.

Thanks for all your help! I think the creator was having a laugh - have done the text file thing and you should see how he has spelt some things - EURHYTHMICS for one, mark cohen, second. then there are original atists and cover artists and then completely wrong ones - apparently it's not Survivor who sang Eye of the Tiger but Foreigner (!!!)In other words without Darth Vader's top tip, it would have been impossible to complete! I'll tidy it up with a few of my own before i send it around!
