Is there any connection (line-up wise) between The Killers and Bruce Springsteen's E Street band? Some of the guitar riffs are very similar.

Not sure if there is any line up connection, but I remember a lot of reviewers commenting at the time of Sam's Town release, about the strong Springsteen influence on the album.
