I heard a song in a club in St. Petersburg, Russia - a gay club - with (a part of) the lyrics being "Daddy, Daddy Good" - repeated over and over. Does anyone have a clue what this is? Sort of neo-disco tune, with a catchy string riff, if that helps at all!

A shot in the dark - could it be 'Daddy Cool' by Boney M? They were and still are pretty popular in Russia and still tour the major cities. It's actually quite an old song from the 70s.
That's what I thought. Sounds just like the sort of thing that would be played in a gay disco in Russia. Wonder if they played Rasputin? "Ra Ra Rasputin, lover of the Russian queen. There was a cat that really was gone." A kitsch classic.
yeah its daddy cool remix of the boney m 'classic'
