i keep getting letters from a debt company
for a man i dont no has never lived in my house i have lived there since it was newly built 14 years ago
i have told the debt company on countless occasions but the letters keep on comeing what can i do i dont want baliffs turning up

I would get a credit check to make sure it's not from identity fraud. Maybe check no one else is registered at your address on the electoral role. It is up to the debt company to prove you are the person listed, not up to you to prove it's not (despite what they say!). A lot of people are in the same situation..

I would also suggest that you write to the company one more time outlining all the facts at that you now consider the matter closed.
Any fiurther commiunication with them will be charged at �50 a time administration fee whether it be by e-mail, fax, letter or telephone. State that any continued communication from them signifies an acceptance of these contidions. It usually gets some response, even if it's just talking to a real person on the phone.
