what is the most haunting piece of music you have ever heard? for me it has to be Enya's - Smaointe. The Uillean Pipes playing leaves thoughts of mist rising above a cold lake! best way to relax, a glass of wine, a hot bath and this playing!

I would have said something very similar ... perhaps Flight of the Condor on panpipes?
Off the top of my head, ''An Ending (Ascent)'' - Brian Eno:

Here is the panpipes Condor track:

but listening to it again it's not the one I meant ... will keep looking
This is more like it:

and for pure orchestral genius, it has to be this from The Mission:

Hey Razzle... the only Keane track worth listening to imo ;-)
Postdog..not so keen on the music but really liked the visuals.

Love the old Victorian graveyard stuff....very erotic!
Loved that Brian Eno track and Sarah McLachlan. Going to see if I can download them now.
Razzel, you on the bonefire juice already!!?!??! The question was 'hauting' & there's you with the 'Erotic!' My God Girl give the vino a rest luvy!!! Ha! Ha!

Piano peice by Lenord Cohen on his 'Furture' Tape, cann't remember the name and can't be Arzed going to look, but it is really good! Makes me fall asleep in the bath anyway!
Hi Beauj

These's haunting and there's erotic then there's hauntingly erotic!!

No bonfire juice tonight - I'm not firing. lol

I'll watch from the safety of the Cavehill thank you.....
Zimmer of course Snags! One of my favourites. He did one called 'Opera' in one of the Hannibal Movies....great but he gets a bit repetitive.......e.g. Mission Impossible...some good stuff there as well.
