Manic street preachers missing member?

Anybody seen the missing member of Manic street preachers? And I can't seem to remember his name. What are all the rumours

His name is Richey edwards, and he was a tortured soul for most of his young life, with a history of depression and self-harming. His harming was most publicly observed when being interviewed by Steve Lamaq, an NME journalist at the time. Lamaq asked Riichey if he was 'for real' wherupon the musician proceeded to carve '4 REAL' in large caracters into his forearm with a razorblade while a shocked lamaq was too stunned to react. It's pretty certain that Richey is dead - his car was foudn near the Severn Bridge, and his bank accounts remain untouched. As with anyone famous - 'sightings' abound, but his family, and the band, accept that he is finally at peace.

I'd agree with you that he's most likely to be dead. As you say, his car was found at Aust services, at the English end of the Severn Bridge. Easy access to Severn Beach and the currents out in the estuary are extremely treacherous.....

Then again, if reports are to believed he's living out in India, Romania, Mexico...etc..(probably flat-sharing with Father Christmas and Elvis)
