..This track's often played in the classical radio shows, sounds like an Enio Morricone piece, only it's not?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I suspect you may be thinking of the guitarist John Williams who played the theme from the film "The Deerhunter". The song was called "Cavatina" but John didn't compose it (Stanley Myers did).
Just to confuse things (further?) he's not the well known film score composer John Williams, they just share the same name to confuse everyone!
