What is the classical piece of music called that makes up the chorus of 'This Night' by Billy Joel?

Aaarrgh! I don't remember and it's driving me nuts! I do recall that it was credited on the inlay of the 'Best Of' album I used to own... the one with the years theme.

This has been driving me crazy, so I've done a bit of searching and according to a Billy Joel website, the piece is by Beethoven- the "Adagio cantabile ( 2nd movement) of his Sonata No 8 in C Minor, Op 13 " - otherwise known as the Sonata "Pathetique" So now we know !! Scubadiver
