The good news is that you have a pleasant voice. The not so good news is that it's not outstanding or individualis tic enough to be instantly recognisable , i.e. fairly average sound.

If you are truly serious, you would have to learn how to sing properly. For example, do you read music? Just copying a track you've listened to is something which anyone can do, as long as you're not tone deaf! So, really, you would have to recruit a reputable singing teacher.
It would be hard work, so it depends on you, and whether or not you want to be a proper singer, or an X Factor contestant?

yeah i tottally agree i do need to go and get lessons on how to sing proberly and not copying someone else track, i have wrote two of my own silly wee songs just to get a feel for what its like to sing with nothing as a guide, i usually try and sing in two styles rock and acoustic folkish stuff on my you tube there is 14 diffrent videos showing all the diffrent styles ive tried including my own attempts at songwriting and trying singing in my own style, but yip i do need help with it all i dont like tv talent shows they make me sick lol! espescially the songs you hae to perform lol
Another suggestion: your last reply sounded as if you might fancy the likes of folk music / blues? If so, perhaps if would benefit you were you able to play the guitar? Your youtube link shows you being accompanied by someone else playing it. Don't know if that's something you've considered?
Also, if your taste in music is indeed folk / blues, then you could do worse than study the likes of KT Tunstall or Amy MacDonald, both of whom come into those kinds of categories. And both of course also play guitar which is a big advantage.
Good luck.

Vocals a bit distorted/unclear.....Listen to others & learn but try to be original-use your musical imagination. Don't forget about dynamics- continuous high volume does get boring.....If the song lends itself -take it down to a whisper. That will grab the audience's attention and really lift them when you go loud again.
Good Luck!
