... or if we've got loads of time to wait, cook a Jamie Oliver 30 minute meal.
True. I know he's probably too busy studying all my answers to his previous questions. I'm off to bed in the hope the mystery of this question will all become clear tomorrow.
Goodnight all.
Goodnight factor
So was Marc Bolans last hit .....Tie a yellow mini round an old oak tree ?
You raised my hopes then schiehallion - I though maybe someone had the answer.
Well another day has nearly passed and we are still none the wiser. I still don't think Eddie Cochrane is the correct answer, nor am I yet convinced that the question has been phrased correctly.
Sonny Bono?
Hi mel-G.
Sonny Bono died in a ski lift accident I recall.I don't think the ski-lift hit a tree and it was in 1990s not mid 60s- although maybe he was in his mid 60s when he died! I wouldn't call him a rock and roller either.
But who knows with this question.
Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but ...

Could the person have been driving a Bristol?
I still maintain that Chippenham isn't Bristol
It isn't. And if you mean Eddie Cochrane I also maintain 1960 (which is when he was killed) isn't mid-60s in my book. And a lampost isn't a tree either. Apart from that it could indeed be Eddie Cochrane- at least he was a rock and roll singer
Have'nt got a clue, but a very interesting thread never the less.

Cozy Powell is the only one who seems to fit the clues.
notafish - Exactly what I said yesterday

Bristol footballer, Robert Cruse, died after crashing his car into a tree.
I think we are flogging a dead horse here.
Cozy Powell? Yes he died ina car crash in Bristol. But he was on the M4 and hit the central reservation- so i doubt there was a tree involved. He wasn't really a mid-60s rock'n'roller either. He played in a few minor bands but didn't become well known until the 70s.
Eddie Cochrane? Yes he died in a car crash but not in Bristol and he hit a lampost not a tree. He died in 1960 which isn't mid 60s.
Marc Bolan died ina car crash when he hit a tree but that was in London.

I think there is no correct answer as the question, I'm sure. is wrong. Or can Puzzleking123 confirm the question (or answer?)
wow. this is an amazing list:

Yes I know, sir prize. I was agreeing with you.
Hi notafish- so are you saying there was a tree in the central reservation on the M4?
I don't know about the tree. I don't know why, but I thought the Bristol bit more relevant than the tree bit. Who knows. . . perhaps the question is wrong.
I am certain the question is wrong, notafish. I suspected it as soon as I read the question.
Some posters regularly post questions that are unanswerable because they contain significant errors or are just poorly defined.
