No doubt I am very many years older than you natalie. Nevertheless I was told by my Grandma that, when I was a no more than a baby, my head was examined by a Phrenologist who claimed that I was destined to become a musician and singer.

I have never been able to sing in tune and any musical ability, which I may have, is since reaching the age of an OAP. I retired from work; bought myself an electronic keyboard and can now produce what I think are reasonable renditions of music as written....having taught myself to read it. I have also bought an Acoustic Guitar....which is quite a decorative item on its stand in the corner of the room...as is the Clarinet which I thought I might be able to play; on the basis of my being able to produce a tune from a Recorder.(The ones you blow, not the switch on items.)

Consequently, if there is another life after this one (I can't believe there is) it is unlikely that I shall be offered a Harp or any other instrument to play in the Heavenly Chorus.

Maybe you should give it a go in your spare time see if you can pick up the guitar and clarinet, there are done great "teach yourself" bids on youtube.
