If Greece is in such a bad financial state, how can they afford to pay the supposed parents £7000 a month. They obviously do not check on the actual births of children that are claimed for. Didn't the mother claim for 7 extra children in one year?
There was a programme about 3 sisters, in this country, who discovered they could keep ringing up and adding handicapped children to their benefit bills. They only got caught when they fell out and dibbed each other in.
And while I wouldn't dream of trying to score points, it happened before the recession under Labour.
Not every fraud relies on cut-backs to flourish.
I wonder how far £7k goes in Greece compared to the UK. I bet the heating costs are much, much cheaper and petrol/diesel.
Don't know about everything else, though.
Where they live and were dressed has nothing to do with how much money they have. I've known people who've lived in squalor and ate frugally, only to die and leave millions!
