If you have a family holiday in the EU it will cost £28 for a family of 4 for the travel registration. Now the EHIC card will be gone.. Travel insurance will be around £15... That's £88 more. Most families don't even contribute this much annually towards our current EU contribution.

So is this what was voted for?

who, and why? he campaigned on the platform of a referendum. his party was elected. his government set up the referendum which, incidentally was voted for in parliament with a 6 to 1 majority, so many of the opposition voted in favour too. the result was leave. both major parties are pledged to honour it. the bill to enact article 50 was passed by parliament with a majority of 5 to 1, including the support of over 200 labour mps.

You should not rely on the card alone and should also have travel insurance as the EICH card will not bring you home if you die abroad

I bet many of the people claiming to be in poverty have got mobile phones and 50 inch TVs.
