A very good morning to all of you, grey and 'misly' here not a nice day at all , hope your weather is much better,I think we went to sleep here on Thursday night and woke up in a Nanny State , just spoken with my daughter ( not allowed to see her) she's sorting out the directive she's had from the BDA re;track and trace, those who don't ( in the workplace ) will now be subject to disciplinary action resulting in dismissal, Things Can only get Better said D'Ream :0))))

you have failing to track and trace - - and they DDDDIIIIIIEEEE!
but surely it is failing to self - isolate
if it were a new term of the contract it would be subject to worker approval
but I think the employer is just saying it was ALWAYS part of the contract not to intentionally cause on costs and losses on the employer
and yes it is already happening in Manchester
( office has to be dispersed for another week etc )

I think it's more a case of being somewhere where you've signed in ( we've done it in the two pubs I've visited) leaving a phone contact number, a case arises and that establishment is informed and they have to phone those that have been in the pub who won't necessarily get Covid but nevertheless must isolate from their workplace for 14 days
