9/11 WTC7 (BBC blunder?)
3 Answers
Can anyone tell me what they think about the BBC's astonishing insight into the collaps (and it's reason for collaps) of the World Trade Centre 7 building... 30 minuted before it happened. I have researched this and found the Editor of the news stream Mr Richard Porter very dismissive of it. He has apparantly 'lost' the tape of the news section and has put the 'insight' down to the confusion of the day.

Let's not forget the sheer chaos and panic in the city that day, not to mention the infernos, dust and general collapse of masonry. Just a bit of overzealousness or Chinese whispers, perhaps?
The BBC and other tv stations have made conflicting statements or guesses about the McCann case recently but I doubt anyone sees it as signs of a conspiracy.
For all we know, the reporting mistakes on 9/11 could be held up in the Beeb as a benchmark for how NOT to rush without confirming facts in the future.

Yes... I think if anything it's a way of NOT telling the news. I think it's been embarrasing for them in light of the conspiracy theories, but I can see how this can only fuel these theories as well. I'm trying very hard to look at all angles, and I'm beginning to think that bad things happen and it's those it has happened to should be on our minds. Only hope there are no truth behind any of the theories as this world is confusing enough!
But I would like to say though... in spite of any theory thats out there, I do think the Gov is guilty of incompitance for their lack of defence. My biggest gripe is how no-one was held accountable for it!
Thanks though!
