Why is it that because Nick Clegg comes across to some as a personable, genuine man his party suddenly gets popular? Liberal policies are still the same regardless of whether their leader is photogenic.
This isn't the X-Factor where people can get away with voting for Jedward even though they can't sing or dance, just because they seem like nice boys!
If you intend to vote for Nick Clegg please research the Liberal party's policies first!!!!

A vote for Clegg is a vote for Brown, full stop. He will quickly cosy up and get run rings around.
This shows how a 'good showing' on TV can sway voters. Brown and Cameron both have much to lose, so they were cautious and careful not to put a foot wrong. Clegg had little to lose, so was much more relaxed, and it showed. Also, last Thursday's show (15th April) was on domestic policies, where the LibDems probably have the strongest appeal. This week it's on foreign policy where Clegg will struggle (I think) to match the other two, and next week it's on finance and he won't be able to put Vince Cable on the stand; he'll have to carry the show on his own.

IMO the most important point currently is that if any party other than the conservatives get into government (especially if it's a hung parliament) GB international's credit rating will fall. We will then be in the same situation as Greece is at the moment!
It shows what sheep a large percentage of the population are.

Style over substance or cohesive policy.
I agree madmaggot the Liberal Party policies are not good, I bet quite a few voters will be voting for Nick Clegg though as a last resort thinking that the Liberal Party is a middle of the road choice, anything but Brown so to speak.

The only positive is that the tv interview's seem to have engaged the interest of younger people. I just hope they vote for policies not for a personality.
The only thing that would anger me more than that would be not to vote at all.
It would be so easy to 'lose' our democracy as has happened in other countries; just because people take our freedoms for granted.
think i must be different from most then as i do like Lib Dem policies but think Nick Clegg is a bit creepy. not sure why but unlike most people i think David Cameron is ok but i do not like Conservative policies at all!
