Not actually a news question, but a question about the news section.

Among these recent posts we have seen two that have reached 200 plus answers, one on the subject of the Burka and one on homosexuality.

What could have been the reason for these two subjects to have attracted the largest response?

Also what question on the news section ever attracted the largest response, and on what subject did that cover?

/// AOG as i am sure you realise there are not many people who actually post on AB or CB, its mostly ten to fifteen ID'S that do most of the posting. ///

Not quite correct koodle, I countered about 40 plus different posters on the Burka thread alone.

/// those 200 answers are from just a few people, not 200 different users ///

Where did I state that they were from 200 different posters?

They were not exhibitionists!, They were two men kissing!
Jack has gone away for the weekend....

She hasn't got other id's....you're just trying to stir now koode...

So when I walk into a pub and greet my female friends and family with a kiss, as often happens, am I out to cause trouble? I also kiss them goodbye as well...

But is that ok because I'm straight?
The sight of two dogs having sex on the street is pretty disgusting to most people. As they are in the minority I suppose the same could be said about gays.
Why were they out to cause a problem?? Because they were kissing??
Wrong pub? Last time I checked public houses were open to paying customers, regardless of sexuality, race, religion etc so the wrong pub theory seems silly..

There's kissing and there's snogging, koode, stop getting the wrong end of the stick.

Stick with the questio, guys, or start posting on the kissing thread... AOG wants to know why we're motivated to answer these questions and such length, not to have them repeated yet again on this thread.

Yes, I get that, koode, but that's not what ummm (and I) do when we meet our friends and family.
Koode It would not bother me!
And in response to your comment that I have a problem, Why? Because I am not narrow minded and do not deem it offensive if two men or women kiss in public?? So what if they kiss in public!!! I have plenty of gay friends who have kissed their partners in my presence, I do see the big deal in why people find it offensive!

If they are happy who gives a flying fcuk??!!!!
