Policeman with legs hacked off dying, bleeding to death on the road. Would you just watch or would you try to help ?
Could this ever happen in this country with the Health minister in the convoy just watching.

Warning the video clip may upset some people.

Two ministers of health and nobody in the whole convoy has learned first aid? Its fairly horrific to watch.
omg. That is absolutely horrible.

Even if they only held his hand and told him help was coming

What a load of $hit houses
Truly despicable behaviour.
Since our Health Minister is hell-bent on demolishing the NHS, putting basic health care out of reach of thousands, this seems a fleabite in comparison.
That is beyond horrible. All those people just gawping as that poor man suffered. I find it hard to believe that not one of them tried to apply tourniquets. Utterly sickening.
Doing First Aid won't help if your legs are severed...

They should have probably called an ambulance sooner but I don't see that it's quite as outrageous or clear cut as people are making it out. Even in this context, 8 minutes is not a very long time. And before you say, 'well he died on the way!' - it appears like all they could have really affected was where he died rather than if he died. He'd already been left there for a long time in a severe state of mutilation. Would you know what to do with yourself if you found someone in that state? I sure as hell wouldn't.
Doing first aid is the first thing to do... I don't know about other countries but the military here is definitely trained in emergency first aid including basic procedures like tourniquets. Out of the entire convoy with all of the military there there wasn't a single one that even tried to help. Eight minutes is almost long enough to drown twice.
"Doing First Aid won't help if your legs are severed"

so wrong, if pressure dressings were applied to the legs he could have possibly been saved, if someone had just reassured him that help was on the way, he may not have suffered so much having to see all these stupid people making a spectacle of him!

Are these people actually human!!
I hate to be brutal on this one, but I am not surprised and the same scenario would happen here or in Europe etc if senior politicians or the Royal Family were involved.

Before you are "revolted" by what I say and let your spume vent, let me explain.

My sis lives very close to President Sarcastic's holiday home and you would think that with the French security around when they are in residence, they would have natural increased protection, just by the security presence. They do not, anything but - as a "raid" or "attack" on them may be a diversionary tactic to divert the security away from an assault on the President.

I have also heard from the White House that this is also the case with security to the cabinet in the States and one assumes that this would be the case here too.

Ok, its an assumption re the UK, but one can better undestand, even though the presentation is horrific and stomach turning.

The days and society in which we live today........malheureusement.

So ditto here.
every single person present at this incident. should be ashamed of themselves. including the person filmimg,,,,,,,,,,,,an injured animal would get more assistance. pressure and elevation of a limb would help in this situation., i couldnt watch the whole video.
these ministers have no regard for human life!.........they should not be ministers!.....they are arrogant!..............and should not be there!.
That's awful. Poor man rip <3
The cameraman did nothing and he was nearest, I can understand people not wanting to help because they are squeamish but not everyone is like that, poor fella
I hope I would have the strength to deal with the images for the rest of my life than the guilt of walking on. :(
I`ve seen worse than that loren but could never walk away and leave them :o(
I don't even want to begin to think what you see in your job, Elvis. :(
You know, it doesn't even come close to any of this, but I was at a train station and watched a teenager jump down onto the tracks, his pals were all egging him on. I shouted for him to get back up, ran over to where he was and helped him back up onto the platform. Not one of the numerous adults on the platform that day did a thing to help, they just stood and watched - how can people just stand there and let it all unfold in front of their eyes?
Most Asian people have no guts in helping people unlike us Western folks, and they don't have any education, life's to cheap to them unfortunately!
I have to admit I think of things like HIV and Hep C when I look at somebody hurt like that but sometimes you just do what you have to do. The kit in my truck has gloves and things so all I need to do is put them on but there have been times when they weren't and I did what I thought was right.
It's certainly a lot worse than emergency services people watching a man drown in a three foot deep pool in the UK recently.
