<<Ranger once said: 'Jail was pretty rough but it taught me a lot. The most important thing I learned is that I never want to go back.'>> - So why have a picture taken with a handgun - real or fake? 2 words describe this 'lad' - stupid idiot. And to answer the question - yes he should face a ban - the longer the better
I'm unsure a ban would change anything with those who might be affected by the photograph. As far as I am aware it is legal to be an idiot, although sometimes i wish otherwise. IMO a stern word about bringing the club into disrepute by association, would probably cover it.
is there an increase of black on black gang killings!? and what has this got to do with the story.... oh yeah, he happens to be black!
Regardless of any made up statistic, of course he wasn't wise to have this photo taken, it was stupid and it seems like the club are dealing with it in a decent manner.
What a load of crap. He's holding a toy gun. What exactly is a "gangster pose"?
"He probably thought this was a bit of fun, but guns tear people's lives apart."
Yes... toy guns tearing this kids life apart because somebody got their panties in a wad.
Just out of curiosity what sort of role model do people expect from a game that has a following known for drunkenness and "football hooliganism". Perhaps a ban on football would make more sense.
glad someone got it zeuhl! cowtipper, I was just messing, and of course I don't agree with a ban on football, people fight in pubs, are you saying we should ban pubs?
How could football be banned anyway!?!
I just woke up and had no coffee. Somebody made a cow joke the other day and I missed that one too. In my defense we call them outlets over here and plug socket sounded like something the admin would add to the word filter.
The photograph was taken by a girl friend I am unsure as to how it got published, but he has apologised and he will be spoken to by his manager.
I think it exceedingly strage how, because of our techno age, things that would once have been complely private are now public and when certain things come to light the condemnation.
But I do enjoy the mottled outrage, it puts a smile on my lips.
A ban? It has nothing to do with his job and he has broken no law.
