Ignoring the fact that I don't wear them and that I don't have children, no I wouldn't dream of doing it. It does seem to be more a female thing though, I've seen women in shops in jim jams, but never men.

Well, I don't have pyjamas and Mrs sqad only wears silk shorty nighties, show a change in dress would be necessary.

No I am not at all surprised that some mothers do dress in that appalling manner, but I must blame the husbands (if there happens to be one). The answer is quite simple....when the husband comes home at night and sees the state of his wife's demeanour, he should put her over his knees, pull down her pyjama bottoms, give her a good spanking and then say
"Lets discus your dress on the school run in an adult manner"

some of my contractors wanted to work on the building out of hours so the came to my house to collect the keys, they were very amused when i wondered out in my pajama bottoms, i wear them for lounging not sleeping tho...

At one time a woman wouldn't be seen outdoors even in her hair rollers, except Andy Capp's missus of course.

Not sure taking your kids to school could be consider 'lounging'
