Now, I know those from the 'conservative end' of the political spectrum see gay equality as something to fight against (family values, traditional morals etc), but surely, equating a loving consensual relationship between two adults is a world away from...well, having it off with with a border collie!

Is this a common perception?

Many, many years ago, we had a young farmer who had £50 in bets (when £50 was worth something) to have sex with a sheep (in the Lakes).
